Cutie's latest make-believe

Do you remember the stage when Cutie made my hand her "pet" in church?  Well, here's the latest make-believe game.  Whenever she can, she climbs into a regular seat in the car and buckles the seat belt.  And right now, as I type, my leg is across her chest as she sits on the floor below.  If I'm sitting on the bed nursing Tater, she grabs my arm, secures it across her chest, and "latches" it at her hip.  "Mama, can your arm be my seat belt?" she asks.

She's three and a half, and in our state, children can start using real seat belts when they're four.  Only six months to go.  This gal will definitely be ready!
