You can't make up the stuff that's been coming out of Cutie's mouth lately.
Cutie: Mama, I love my new baby brother.
New Mommy: Yes, he's very sweet.
Cutie: And I'm glad his head doesn't broke when you nurse him.
Here's what she told me this morning when she'd had enough millet porridge mixed with raw cream and palm sugar-sweetened coconut milk. It was so yummy.
New Mommy: Do you want to finish your [very filling] porridge?
Cutie: No, I ate too much. Pausing, as if that wasn't convincing enough. God and Jesus ate too much in my heart.
