When going to the little potty was new and cool, Precious had no problems getting herself to it. Now that it is old news, and playing is a little more important than the potty, we are having lots of accidents. But, we're still sticking to the diaperless routine, because I believe this is the only way she will finally "get it." The good news is that she will absolutely not do #2 anywhere but the potty. I hope I don't end up eating these words... :D
Lately, Precious has also been involved in a quest for alternative potties. So far, she has tried to exploit the copper pot that is normally used to hold fireplace ashes and her Little People school bus. She plants herself atop the object and proceeds to study her bottom intently. That's when I step in and say, "No, Precious, don't tee-tee in the school bus. Go to the potty and tee-tee in the potty." I should probably just be thankful that she's trying to keep it off the floor.
On a sadder note, my heart is aching for the brothers and sisters at Bro. Shrewsbury's church in West Virginia. Their church burned to the ground Monday afternoon. Here are a couple of news links from Google news search.
