New eating technique

Sorry I don't have a picture of this one yet. Since Precious loves Mommy's bread so much, she has started grabbing up handfuls of it and "smashing" it into her mouth. Some of it usually ends up in her nose, too. I just stare at her and grin.

News is a little scarce. Just work around the house as usual. Soooo...

"I'd like to take this opportunity" (heheh) to brag on the Super Baby Food book (thanks again, Ruthi!). Not only does it tell you how to make your own baby food that is way better-tasting than store baby food (remember the dog food incident at Christmas?). It also tells you how to make Super Porridge and has hundreds of super-frugal ideas! Super Porridge is ground grains (like rice, millet, or amaranth) cooked in boiling water for about 10 minutes. That's it. And you know what, thanks to Super Porridge, Precious hardly gets sick, and when she does get sick, she fights it off faster than I do. And that's with me having an edge on her with Airborne and Zicam. Yep, it's good stuff.

Basically, the book tells every little detail you could ever want to know (or not) about your child's nutritional needs until s/he is three. Worth its weight in gold. The cost is about $20, but there are discounts if you buy multiples (great baby shower gift).
