So... it occurred to me that it might be nice to have a memory of what pets the children are taking care of right now.
Precious- fish tank with a female beta fish, some small tropical fish, and a few snails; guinea pig (there are two in her room, Marshmallow and Fluffy, but Fluffy technically belongs to Cutie)
Bubby- leopard gecko, Pascale. He did have an axolotl (Mexican salamander), but he didn't have proper filtration for the aquarium and let it go (as they say).
Cutie- Fluffy the guinea pig
Household- 12 chickens (we had an opossum attack last spring and lost 14 chickens, including the silkie rooster), but we have 6 Easter egger hens born this year; Rosie our beloved Great Pyrenees dog. She's 8.5 years old, so it will be soon be time to find another guardian if we decide to keep chickens. It takes 2 years for them to mature, or we could find an older rescue...
