Recently, Precious took our "order for the restaurant" on her notepad. She painstakingly wrote shorthand- first letters for everything. My grilled chicken salad was "G C," and my lemon pie was "L."
Then, she concluded, "You know what, our restaurant is kind of slow. So if you'd like, you can just leave, and I'll forget your order."
