A change

Well, it seems the time has come to announce that we're moving. It's not a major move, like to a different state, but we are moving on the other side of town. That would be the side that New Daddy said he would die before he would move out there. The commute is horrendous. But, it's also the side of town that is closer to our families, without moving right into their backyards. And most of his company's local clients have been located there, or in downtown. We'll be the same distance from downtown as we are now.

So, posting will probably be even sketchier than it has been lately. I find that it's actually easier to pack with children around. Especially when Precious pulls out a box and says, "Let's pack something, Mommy!" And of course, I have to pack-- something!

In so many ways, the Lord has shown us that this is the right time to be making this decision. We had tried before to buy a different foreclosure nearby, and in God's infinite wisdom, the whole thing fell through. The timing and the house were wrong, though we couldn't see it at the time. We were shocked, but then, we were thankful that he loved us enough to keep us from a mistake. We've been completely neutral about this house and the move, only asking for God's will, and this is the way he has opened up for us. We are very thankful.

Has Bro. Ben been listening to Dave Ramsey on the radio? Alex finally started listening to him and now that is his goal too (getting out of debt).

No, seriously, for the past six years, all I've heard is how we can get out of debt! I've heard good things about Dave Ramsey, though.

Will you be going to your mom and dad's church since you'll be closer?

Yes, we will be. We are going to miss everyone at our old church-- I don't even have words. It makes me teary just to write this.
