For Bible reading the other night, Precious wanted to act out the story of Daniel in the lions' den.
Bubby readily volunteered, "I'll be the horse!"
(Apparently the horse ride with New Daddy hadn't quite worn off, yet.)
Alas, Bubby was a very reluctant Daniel. He was too scared of the lion (Precious) to enter the den. So, King Darius (New Daddy) ended up holding Daniel's hand as he led him to the den. After Daniel finally hugged the lion and left the den, he cried again when the king's advisors (New Mommy and Cutie) were eaten by the lion. I must say, the lion did roar rather ferociously as she gnashed her teeth.
I should also note that Daniel and the lion can both quote, "No manner of hurt was found upon him, because he believed in his God." quite nicely, too.
