I'm discovering that I will never (knock on wood) miss an elimination while I am wearing Bubby in the sling. I can sense his squirming and grunts incredibly easily, and I know exactly when he needs to go. Very cool stuff. Now, if I can just figure out how to wear him comfortably in the sling! I have also stopped putting him in his diaper cover while we're at home and he's awake. That way, I know exactly when he wets, if he does.
And, after two months, I have finally perfected my diaper routine.
1) Soak/ short wash diapers in Borax.
2) Heavy duty wash in Borax and Charlie's Soap.
3) Rinse cycle again.
Done!
