Happy Birthday, Aunt Carol! My dad's oldest sister is 61 today.
I just got home from my second OB appointment. I got to hear the baby's heartbeat!!!! So sweet! And I'm the perfect size for 12 weeks. Chastain, the midwife who delivered Precious, told me that they would basically do what I wanted for labor and delivery. She attributed my pitocin/ epidural to the fact that when I first came in to the hospital, there was a doctor on duty, not a midwife. She said it should be fairly simple to go all natural and thought a doula was a great idea! I feel a lot better now about the hospital decision.
