Precious said "da da da da" this morning. New Daddy's heart melted.
Yesterday, she fed herself cantaloupe! It was really cute watching her chase little pieces around her tray. And she makes happy sounds when she eats. When the food is really good, I call it "kickin' good," because she gets so excited about it that she has a kickin' and grinnin' fest!
Precious is working on the whole cause and effect thing. For example, she can get Mommy to say "You are such a big girl!" by standing by herself. So, she'll stand by herself, wait for my reply, plop down, stand back up, wait for my reply, and on and on-- you get the picture. It's a little monotonous for me after a while, but it is loads of fun for her!
