New Daddy has made great progress on the replumbing of the whole house. He's about two-thirds of the way finished. Things started really moving after he discovered that PEX was a better option for us than CPVC. And we decided that while we were at it, we might as well redo the master bathroom, since we would be tearing everything apart, anyway. And this is where we stand, in pictures.
First, before we ripped everything out:
Toilet, mirror and drywall gone:
Vanity and linoleum gone, hole where the toilet was:
And this is where we stand now. Wow. Remodeling ain't too purty, but eventually, it'll be worth the trouble.
We've got the tile ready to go, but are having trouble deciding which item to do next on the list. We're going to reglaze the tub and shower, replumb both, install tile, install a vanity and a toilet, fix drywall and repaint. What order do you think we should do things in?
A side note: when we took the toilet and sink to the curb, we later returned to find the sink and upper part of the toilet gone. Scrap metal, perhaps? Oh, well; at least it saved the garbage company a little trouble. They took our 60-inch vanity the following week, mwahahaha.

I reglazed the tub before we went on a trip...actually the camping trip I think!
That way the glaze had 3 days to dry that it requires while we were gone.
Nasty job that, I don't look forward to ever doing it again. I recommend the paint sprayer, instead of brushing it.
