The hall bathroom is coming along. For Cutie's party, people still had to wash their hands in the bathtub. This weekend, though, New Daddy installed the marble backsplash, and I think things are starting to look pretty snazzy in there. He cut small notches to make the backsplash pieces fit over the moulding, and they don't show at all. Although he set the countertop in thinset and grouted it, he used a tile adhesive called "SimpleMat" for the backsplash. And the marble was actually 4-inch threshold material that we found-- and meticulously picked through-- at Home Depot.
