I sometimes get my organic rolled oats from the BreadBeckers in Georgia, and they do ship. Additionally, you can order it from Walton Feed.
However, you live in Ohio, which has some Amish country. I bet you can find a nice farmer somewhere who sells it. Irina gets her wheat from a farmer about an hour away from Lima.

Irina's link doesn't work, thanks to my rusty html. Try again... She's also on my blogroll :D.
ALSO, don't forget to soak your oats with an acidic medium to make the nutrients accessible to your system! Oats have the most phytic acid (phosphorus- binds nutrients and prevents their absorption) of all of the grains. Horses have four stomachs; we don't. Unsoaked oatmeal used to make us feel sick in the mornings. After switching to the soaking technique, it feels wonderful on the stomach.
The soaking formula: 1 Tbsp yogurt, buttermilk or whey per 1 cup of water in the recipe
Example: Irish Oatmeal 1 cup oats 2 cups water 2 Tbsp yogurt
Let soak for at least 8 hours (overnight). In the morning, add 1/2 tsp of salt and bring to a boil. Cook for about 5 minutes to thicken. Serve with butter and maple syrup.
I totally forgot about that place where Irina goes - which ironically is close to me, I haven't been there but have checked out their website and know they have oats. Thanks for the remindar......here I was looking everywhere and forgot to look in my own backyard so to speak.

The food is your choice. The bugs are HIS choice. :)
I have a question - I am looking for organic quick oats and wondered if you bought yours online somewhere?
thanks
