Seedlings!

I almost danced around the garden when I discovered the first seedlings yesterday morning! Okay, I think I really did dance. The seed packets said, "Germination should take 7-12 days." And it was exactly seven days later from planting that I saw the first green shoots! Today, I got out and took some pictures of them. But, first our little seedlings, being oh-so-cute on the sofa.

Bubby's doing his tongue twister-thing in the second pic. New Daddy says that even he can't twist his tongue as much as Bubby!

Now, the garden.

Cucumber?------------------------------ Corn & beans

Spinach ------------------------- Marigold

Carrots? Chives?

I planted them together, so I'm not very sure.

Here's an overall shot of our gardening plot. The black thing is the compost bin. Herbs are in the square box on the left (I hope-- I haven't really seen them yet!). The camouflage tarp drapes over the fence to cover our firewood on the other side of the fence.
