Hello!

Today, we're getting a break from the warm weather that came from nowhere (but that I loved, too!). It's cloudy and a little cooler. So, I've got windows open and ceiling fans going! Precious loves to stand at the open window and yell into the yard at whatever will listen. Usually the squirrels run from her.

This weekend was a great weekend with my family. We went up to Greenville Saturday, had a late lunch with Trey and Mary, and then spent some time at my grandmother's house. Then, we took her on to my aunt's house, where we celebrated Spring birthdays! Precious had a blast being the center of attention for the first hour or so.

Guess what, we brought our camera all the way up to SC and left the memory card sitting in our computer! So, no pictures from this weekend...

Then Sunday, we were going to try to visit Bro. Burley's church, but we didn't get directions, etc. So, we did our usual and visited my parents' church. It was an incredible service. At the end, there was a very solemn feeling, and then a brother prophesied exactly in line with the message that had been preached.

The Holy Spirit fell in such a mighty way. I was built for services like that! It is so refreshing to see a church that has the gifts of the Spirit, and knows how to use them for the edification of the body. It was wonderful to see the maturity of the congregation, how everyone waited on the Spirit. There was no work-up; it was all God.

We ate lunch with my family before heading back to Atlanta (and, ahem, Bass Pro). We had a really good visit with everyone.

P.S. While we were skipping out on our home church, New Daddy finished the website! It is now online at http://christianassemblyohatchee.com.
